Italian Language and Culture Courses at the Beautiful Belforte Castle in Italy at only 1 euro 1 hour

The Centro "Giacomo Leopardi," authorized by the Italian Ministry of Education, is taking the initiative to promote the Italian Language and Culture throughout the world by offering the Italian Language and Culture course at 1 euro 1 hour at the first 300 applications we receive regardless of the applicant’s age, nationality or level.

For example a 4 weeks course with 80 hours lessons (20 per week) costs only 80 euro !!!

We still have a number of places available for 2006, so we can guarantee the special offer for you if you are able to send your application soon.

We also organize: Courses in Music, Ceramics, Fashion Design, Restauration of Paintings, History of Art, Commercial Italian, Painting, Sculpture and Italian Cooking so if you are interested in one of them please e-mail me back and I will give you more information.

The lessons are taught by qualified teachers who have a solid grasp of modern techniques and vast experience in teaching Italian as a foreign language. The courses are adapted to different levels and are taught in small groups, each group made up of an average of 5 students. Thus, language study at the Centro “Giacomo Leopardi” is not only innovative, but the methods also attempt to satisfy the needs of each student individually.

Of further benefit to you will be your participation (along with the Centre’s teachers) in the extra-curricular program: cultural, recreational, sporting and cooking activities along with dinners at the school. All these activities at 1 euro 1 hour too !!! Also excursions to Venice, Verona, Arezzo, Assisi, Perugia, Gubbio, Urbino, Rimini, San Marino, etc. are available. You can see below the detailed program for the extra-curricular activities. This program reflects our experience over the past few years and the recent requests of students. The final decision on where to go on excursions will be taken by students while they are here and we may ask to pay to rent the bus.

By integrating the courses with the cultural, recreational, sporting, and culinary activities, you will find you are able to learn, improve and perfect the Italian language in a natural and spontaneous way, feeling completely at ease in a friendly environment. Under such conditions, you will be surprised at what excellent results you will obtain in a very short time. Each student who attends a course at the Centro “Giacomo Leopardi” receives a parchment certificate from the Mayor of Belforte, in which he or she is named an "Inhabitant of Belforte." A diploma from Centro Giacomo Leopardi is also issued to each student.

Students are lodged in the beautiful CASTLE of Belforte all'Isauro (in the province of Pesaro-Urbino) or in its Medieval “BORGO.” Upon arrival, you will be given the opportunity to choose to have your meals at the restaurant of the Castle at cost price: 90 euros per week for lunch and dinner !!!.
Alternatively, you may buy your own food and use one of our kitchens or go to a restaurant. Our aim is to be flexible and to satisfy the needs of each student. Therefore, the choice will be up to you.

You can attend for as long as you wish.

To get this offer you need to become a member of Giacomo Leopardi Center and the cost is 200 euro to be forwarded with your application form. The membership lasts forever and you can attend our courses any time you want even in the following years. As a member of Giacomo Leopardi Center you have many facilities like to book your accommodation at the castle at 1 euro 1 hour without attending our classes if you prefer or take place to the extra-curricular activities at 1 euro 1 hour without being obliged to have the accommodation here or to attend our classes. Of course you can attend only our courses without booking the other options. You choose only what you prefer.
As a member you don’t even need to pay any deposit to book your course, your accommodation or your extra-curricular activities.

We also offer food at cost price: 90 euro per week for lunch and dinner. You don’t have to book the food in advance as you decide when you are here what you prefer to do. The alternative is that you buy your own food in a supermarket and use one of the kitchens to prepare it.

I inform you that in 2001 we opened another in Spoleto (Umbria) where we offer only individual lessons with 50% discount. Please e-mail me back if you need further information.

Prices valid until 31st December 2006

Courses in Italian language and culture
20 hours per week from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday to
Friday, culture classes in the afternoon (Italian History and Literature),
teachers available in the afternoon as well, even for individual lessons,
parchment diploma:

ACCOMMODATION in the CASTLE in bedrooms with bathroom or in its
MEDIEVAL "BORGO" in apartments with kitchen. Both are completely
furnished in style at 1 euro 1 hour sharing the room with 1 or 2 more people.
With an extra of 50 cents per hour you can book a single room and with an extra of 1 euro per hour you can book an apartment composed by entrance with kitchenette, bathroom and a double bedroom.

COMPLETE ASSISTANCE with all requirements from arrival to departure, - teachers available in the afternoon as well, even for INDIVIDUAL LESSONS, facilities for booking train tickets, plane tickets, hotels etc.; students are welcome to arrive the Sunday preceding the start of the course.

BELFORTE – How to get here

The closest airports are Rimini (1 hour), Ancona (1 hr 30 m.),
Bologna (2 hrs), Firenze (3 hrs) and Rome (4 hrs 30 m.)
and Milan (4 hours) approximately.

The Castle is located in Belforte all'Isauro, near Urbino (30
minutes), San Marino (30 m.), Rimini (50 m.), Pesaro (50 m.),
Gubbio (60 m.), Perugia (100 m.), Assisi (110 m.) Firenze (120 m.),
Siena (120 m.), Spoleto (130 m.) etc.
You can find it in the map if you look just south of San Marino
and due west of Urbino on the border of Toscana (only 500m away).

HOW TO GET TO BELFORTE ALL'ISAURO:

BY CAR: Motorway to Pesaro and from Pesaro turn on the left following
the sign to Urbino up to Montecchio (7 km from the motorway). When in Montecchio
there is a traffic light at a junction where you have to take the road on the right.
Keep always that road and passing Casinina, Mercatale, Lunano, Piandimeleto
you are in Belforte all’Isauro.

BY TRAIN: From Rome take the train to Falconara or Ancona and then
the train to Pesaro where in front of the station there is
a bus to Belforte.
From Turin, Milan and Venice direct train to Pesaro
(or via Bologna) and from Pesaro to Belforte by bus.
