The Interrogative ‘How much/many?’: ¿Cuánto/a/os/as?

The interrogative ‘Cuánto’ is matched to the gender and number (singular/plural) of the noun that follows. There are four possibilities: masculine, feminine, masculine-plural, feminine-plural.

Usage of the singular form (when dealing with an uncountable noun) and the plural form (when dealing with a quantitative noun) is similar in other Spanish words (mucho, tanto).
