The Future Simple is used to refer to actions that will take place in the distant future. As we have already seen using the grammatical structure Ir + A + infinitive we can build sentences for the near future.
The Future Simple form is not common in the colloquial Latin American Spanish, rather the verb Ir is used (as explained {link:1201}).
